IAJ Expands In House Capabilities to be More Flexible, Punctual and Responsive
2017 March 14th
InterAviation Japan is now expanding (click left for more details) its capabilities in the ground handling arrangements for business aviation at the main Japanese gateway airports to better meet the needs of aircraft operators, utilizing its expertise and experience from handling of the commercial operators, especially at Haneda RJTT and Narita RJAA airports, taking over the most of ground handling tasks in house.
This move would result in giving customers more flexibility, comparing to other handling agents, better coordination, not depending on outside contractors, and lower cost, which is more effectively manageable within the company.
As a result, IAJ would continue to accomplish not only usual tasks, such as obtaining permits, coordinating arrival and departure, fueling catering, passenger services, but also will perform in house a ramp transportation, baggage handling, aircraft marshaling, aircraft towing and other ramp routine services. In addition, IAJ is opening a new lounge space at RJTT international terminal across from the private jet parking. The space can be used by pilots, who want to engage in essential flight planning tasks and or just relax and enjoy fresh coffee before the flight.
